Elon Musk says he has been forced to make significant layoffs at social media service Twitter, due to high expenses at the company.
According to Elon Musk, Twitter is losing around $4 million every day – leaving him with no choice, and having to reduce the number of employees.
Elon Musk also emphasized that Twitter offered compensation for 3 months to those who were fired.
Apart from that, Elon Musk is also looking at coming up with a number of new revenue generating methods – including focusing on revenue through Twitter Blue subscriptions.
