The Prime Minister, Anwar Ibrahim has announced the latest cabinet list under the Unity Government, as well as naming the new Minister of Communications.
This new portfolio will cover the Minister of Communications and Digital - parallel to the development of the digital economy arena in Malaysia, replacing the previous use of multimedia.
Fahmi Fadzil is ready to work as Pakatan Harapan's communications director before. His appointment comes during Malaysia's transition to the 5G era which falls under his ministry's portfolio, including a focus on the digital economy arena.
