The 10th generation iPad is equipped with a 10.9-inch screen with Liquid Retina display, powered by the Apple A14 Bionic chip, 4GB RAM memory, up to 256GB storage, a 12MP main camera, a 12MP selfie camera, as well as WiFi 6 connectivity and 5G network support for the version cellular. It also comes with a new design that is flat on the screen and the whole body with support for the Magic Keyboard Folio and the first generation Apple Pencil.
The iPad 10 can be purchased at a price starting at RM2,099. Recently, to make the experience of using this basic iPad more interesting and premium, Logitech has offered a number of new accessories. It is an alternative if users feel that accessories from Apple are expensive.
The first is the Logitech Combo Touch, which is a keyboard frame with backlight, has legs for different modes such as Sketch Mode, View Mode and Read Mode, as well as a trackpad with the same features as Apple's original frame. Most interestingly, it supports Smart Connector connection via magnet or even Bluetooth. It also allows users to use iPadOS 16 features directly through the keyboard. The keyboard on this frame is also removable. It is sold at a price of RM768.
The Slim Folio is a more basic keyboard frame. It offers a "full" size keyboard like Apple's Keyboard Folio without the touch pad. It comes with a thin design, but protects the iPad as a whole. With iPadOS 16, various quick accesses are possible on the keyboard. The connection uses Bluetooth LE instead of the Smart Connector, it is powered by two round battery cells with a durability of up to three years. Logitech also includes a place to store the Apple Pencil or Apple Crayon. The selling price is RM449.
Next up is the Rugged Folio, which is a rugged, military-grade approved frame with a built-in keyboard. It offers the same feet as the Combo Touch for the use of various modes as well as a keyboard with the same features. The difference is, this keyboard supports the protection of spilled water and there is no problem if it falls at a height of around 2 meters. Apple Pencil and Logitech Crayon storage is also built in, the keyboard supports a quiet typing experience and it uses a Smart Connector connection. There is no Malaysian price yet, but in selected markets it is sold at around RM600.
Lastly is Crayon which is an alternative stylus to the first generation Apple Pencil that is supported on iPad 10. Crayon uses the same technology as Apple Pencil, so drawing, writing, note-taking features are smooth and as if a real pen/pencil is supported. It also comes with an on/off switch for battery saving and supports fast automatic connection on iPad. Above the switch there are also three LED lights for battery status indication and the Crayon uses USB-C charging. Logitech also includes a smart tip for the ability to draw thick or thin lines by simply changing the position of the Crayon either upright or tilted. The selling price is RM309.
All of these Logitech accessories will go on sale starting this month. It can be purchased through Lazada or Logitech's official Shopee. Combo Touch, Slim Folio and Crayon are already legal to be sold in Malaysia, but the Rugged Folio is still undecided.
