Acer is ready to enliven the gaming laptop market in early 2023. The Taiwanese vendor is ready to release two variants of gaming laptops in the near future, the Predator Helios and Nitro.
The Acer Predator Helios will be available in two size options, namely 16 inches and 18 inches, which use the 13th generation Intel Core HX-series processor. Meanwhile, the Acer Nitro is only available in 16-inch sizes but offers two processor options, namely the 13th generation Intel Core or AMD Ryzen 7000 series.
The 13th generation Intel Core processor that is carried by the latest Predator Helios laptop promises a more powerful performance.
"Intel's 13th generation processor has entered with a total of 24 cores. I can't imagine, in terms of increased performance, this will definitely be extraordinary, to support all existing gamer activities.
The processor is paired with the latest discrete GPU from Nvidia RTX. Do not miss the fifth generation AeroBlade 3D Fan cooling system which has a 55% better wind flow than conventional fans.
The Acer Predator Helios display uses an IPS panel with WQXGA or WUXGA resolution. Various screen configurations are offered, ranging from those with a refresh rate of 165Hz to Mini LEDs with a refresh rate of 250Hz. Just like gaming laptops in general, the Acer Predator Helios is also equipped with an RBG keyboard.
Next is the Acer Nitro 16 which is the successor to the Nitro 5. This gaming laptop comes with a new design and logo, as well as a larger screen size of 16 inches.
This laptop is equipped with the Acer CoolBoost cooling system and four air vents that promise 25% better airflow. There is also a thermal liquid that can distribute heat more evenly and keep the processor temperature cool.
The display uses a Real IPS panel with WQXGA or WUXGA resolution. The Acer Nitro 16 screen display also has a thin bezel so that the screen-to-body ratio reaches 84%.
Acer Predator Helios and Acer Nitro 16 are planned for release in March 2023.
