Acer Brings 3 New Swift Laptops to the Market, Peek at the Leaks

 


Acer brought three laptops from the Swift line to the market after it was first exhibited at the CES 2023 event. The three laptops are the Acer Swift 14, Swift X 14 and Swift Go 14/16.

  The Swift laptop line that launched this year all carry the 13th generation Intel Core processors.


First there is the Acer Swift 14 which is the successor of the Acer Swift 5. This laptop comes as a classic variant with a thin and light design but doesn't sacrifice performance.



As the name implies, the Acer Swift 14 carries a 14-inch touch screen and weighs 1.2 kg. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass making it tougher. This laptop is equipped with the 13th generation Intel Core H processor and already has Intel Evo certification.


There is also an increase in the cooling system or thermal solution. Here we test that the cooling performance is up to 60% better with the new cooling design.


Considering that Swift 14 targets professionals, Acer also equips this laptop with a 1440p webcam, Acer Purified Voice silencer feature, and Intel Unison support which allows users to connect laptops with their cellphones.


Next, there are the Acer Swift Go 14 and 16 which are aimed at students who are looking for a laptop with a thin and light design. This laptop comes with a 14 and 16 inch OLED screen with a 3.2K resolution and a 16:10 ratio.


Acer equipped this laptop with the 13th generation Intel Core H-series processor. Not to forget the Intel Evo certification and Intel Unison support. Just like its sibling, the Acer Swift Go also has a 1440p webcam and an AirTwin cooling system.


Finally, there is the Acer Swift X 14 which is the most advanced variant. This laptop is designed for content creators on the move who are looking for a thin and light laptop with fast performance and a dedicated GPU.


This laptop is powered by an Intel Core H-series 13th generation with a choice of GPUs up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050. The Acer Swift X 14 screen uses a 14.5 inch OLED panel with a resolution of 2.8K and a 16:10 ratio.



Its performance is also supported by the TwinAir cooling system which is claimed to be 27% cooler and the fan is larger and can be controlled easily. The battery capacity is also increased up to 29% larger.


It does not reveal the exact date of the launch of the latest Acer Swift series on the market, but it is certain that these laptops will be released in the first quarter of 2023.
