The Ministry of Communications and Digital now aims to announce the implementation of 5G by Digital Nasional Berhad by the end of March 2023.
Through the implementation of 5G, the government aims to enable this fast data access to be used not only by consumers, but also to adapt the supply for the industry in further stimulating the digital economy.
One of the advantages brought by the 5G network is the low latency rate – allowing various things to work at almost real-time speed and speed – unlike previous generation networks.
This 5G network technology is also expected to benefit a number of factories, including for other operations such as oil rigs and others.
If things go smoothly, Malaysia is expected to have a coverage rate of up to 80% in populated areas by 2025.
