HMD Global has just launched the Nokia C12 as its first champion in 2023. This cellphone runs Android 12 Go Edition and costs 120 Euros cheap.
Nokia C12 is the successor to the Nokia C10 which was announced in early 2021. There are a number of changes as well as improvements to the specifications provided.
The body of the Nokia C12 is made more compact than its predecessor. This cellphone has dimensions of 160.6 x 74.3 x 8.75mm and weighs 177.4g, while the Nokia C10 measures 169.9 x 77.9 x 8.8mm and weighs 191g.

The Nokia C12 runway uses the Unisoc SC9863A1 chipset combined with 2GB of RAM. There is a virtual RAM feature of up to 2 GB to make performance even faster, considering that Android Go with 1 GB of RAM is sufficient.
There is an internal memory capacity of 64 GB, unfortunately Nokia does not provide a microSD slot. So users have to rely on cloud-based storage.
For connectivity, the Nokia C12 provides 4G, WiFi and Bluetooth 5.2 options. While the battery installed has a capacity of 3,000 mAh with 5W charging.
Despite being inexpensive, the C12 is built to last. Made with a textured polycarbonate body. Besides that, it has pocketed an IP52 certificate (protected from dust and dripping water).
HMD has committed to quarterly security updates for 2 years. There's no information about an OS update, but this is typical of Android Go Edition models.
The Nokia C12 comes in Light Mint, Dark Cyan and Charcoal color variants. This phone will visit Germany and Austria first and then to a wider market.
The price of Nokia C12 in the European market is 120 Euros . Considering that on the blue continent the price of gadgets is more expensive due to high taxes, it is possible that the price tag of this cellphone will be cheaper when it comes to the market, hopefully.
