Russian Vloger Takes Selfie Before Nepal Plane Crashes


 The search for victims and the process of identifying the bodies of Yeti Airlines passengers are continuing. Along with this, a Russian vlogger who was also a passenger had posted a selfie on social media before the incident.

Elena Banduro, who is a travel vlogger, often uploads about her travels on her social media account. Including when traveling to Nepal. But who would have thought, the 33-year-old woman's selfie on her social media would be the last time.

As quoted from the NZ Herald, Tuesday (17/1/2023) Elena was taking a selfie on a plane that seemed to be taking off. In the same story post, you can see a picture of a mountain and an enthusiastic caption "Go to Nepal".




It is known that Elena also works as a social media manager at a software company. Meanwhile, he often documents his travels on his Instagram account and personal blog.


Netizens who knew Elena was the victim of the Yeti Airlines plane crash immediately flocked to her social media accounts and expressed their condolences to the Russian vloger.

Elena is one of the Russian citizens who fell victim to the crash of the Yeti Airlines plane near Pokhara International Airport, Nepal.


Previously, the plane carrying 72 passengers stated that 68 of them were found dead. That number increased to 69 after a victim was found.


Officials confirmed that three other people were still listed as missing. Despite the search, officials said there was no hope of survivors being found.
