Sony's Walkman device used to be a music cassette player that was very popular among young people in the 90s. Today, the Walkman brand is known as a premium digital music player.
Recently, Sony has introduced two new Sony Walkman devices, including Sony Walkman NW-ZX707 and Sony Walkman NW-A306 which come with a number of new support and features.
Sony Walkman NW ZX707 is their flagship model, which has a battery life of up to 25 hours. For the connection of two audio jack ports which are 3.5mm stereo 50mw+50mW and 4.4mm 230mW+230mW balanced. Both ports support frequencies of 20Hz-40,000Hz. It also includes Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity support with SBC, LDAC, aptX, aptx HD and AAC codecs.
Sony Walkman NW-A306 is a more affordable version with more or less the same specifications. The main difference is in the size, where the screen is 3.6-inches, the battery lasts more than 36 hours, and Sony only includes 3.5mm audio jack connection support, no balanced 4.4mm audio jack connection. Then this model also offers three color options which are black, gray or blue.
Recently, the Sony Malaysia website has shown the local price tag for these two Walkman devices, where the Walkman NW-ZX707 will be sold at a price tag of RM3699, while the Walkman NW-A306 will be sold at a price tag of RM1599.
For now, the sales date for these devices for the local market is still unknown.
