The first Apex Legends Mobile application will be discontinued on May 1. The announcement was made by Respawn Entertainment this morning with the reason being that several factors make the game no longer possible to continue with the quality that players feel is acceptable.
Starting today the Apex Legends Mobile store will no longer be accessible with real money purchases and will no longer be activated. Players who still have game credits can continue to spend existing credits until May 1. Credits remaining after the game is stopped will not be refunded to the player.
Respawn confirmed that only the first for smart devices has been stopped while the PC and console versions are still going ahead.
The closure of the game comes as a bit of a surprise as Apex Legend Mobile was only launched last May globally after Beta testing in certain markets. Even though the first arena is the most profitable right now, it's still not enough to save Apex Legends Mobile from an early termination.
