Meta has now released a number of data related to the development of their company, and also shared that it has spent around $13.7 billion throughout 2022 for the purpose of Reality Labs.
Mark Zuckerberg himself has previously stated many times that Meta wants to be the leader in the metacity arena - including augmented reality and mixed reality. This also consumes a lot of money in development, optimization and so on.
Mark Zuckerberg and Meta themselves are still continuing this Reality Labs development arena, and are expected to be present with new device offerings in 2023.
In addition to the challenges in the metacity arena, Meta is seen to be continuing positive development in the social media arena, where they now have 2 billion active users for Facebook.
