The Sony Xperia is a Sony Android smartphone that focuses on videography. Their flagship model is the Xperia 1 and the latest model, the Xperia 1 IV, was launched last May. Now the device that is claimed to be the successor of the Xperia 1 V has been leaked.
Not much information was revealed other than the camera configuration only. Based on the image, the Xperia 1 V is seen to no longer include the ToF sensor and the RGB infrared sensor on the camera module. Instead it just uses a tri-camera configuration with what I can expect to be a wide-angle sensor, a periscope telephoto sensor and an ultra-wide-angle sensor.
Another change seen is that the LED flash light is now inside the camera module instead of outside on the back panel of the device. The Zeiss T* lens coating is also still visible. Last year the Xperia 1 IV was launched in May, but for this year it is still uncertain when the Xperia 1 V will be launched. Let's wait together.
