Twitter Wants To Share Advertising Revenue With Content Creators – But Must Subscribe To Twitter Blue First

Elon Musk today announced that Twitter will begin sharing their advertising revenue with content creators.

Elon says advertising revenue from ads that appear on a user's Tweet thread will be shared. However, the user or content creator must first subscribe to Twitter Blue before being eligible for this revenue sharing.

With this move, Twitter seems to want to further encourage the various sharing and interactions that take place on the platform – and at the same time wants to prevent people from moving to other platforms.

However, there are still many questions including advertising share percentages, dashboards for content creators, and where content creators should look further for it. Twitter Blue is also offered on a limited basis in a few countries only for now.
