Windows 11 looks more and more interesting to use, especially for productivity and multi-tasking. File Explorer now supports tabs to not open multiple windows and will soon receive another interface update. Facebook Messenger started supporting widgets and Snipping Tools will come with screen recording support.
Now in Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22621.1255 and 22623.1255, Microsoft has updated their note taking application Notepad with tab support as well. This Notepad application is present in version 11.2301.17.0 and when users open a new note file such as .txt will be given the option to either open in a new tab or in another window.
The new notepad also supports keyboard shortcuts to easily switch between tabs. If you are a Windows 11 user and use Notepad, does this feature interest you? Because for me, all note-taking uses the Sticky Note application only all this time.
