Only about a week away, Nothing Ear (2) will be launched on March 22, 2023. But this short period cannot prevent the leaker from revealing what surprises Nothing will introduce to their second generation flagship TWS.
The Tech Outlook and OnLeaks have today revealed the full design of the Ear (2) which still looks the same as the Ear (1). The TWS continues to use a transparent design for both the earphones and the charging frame.
Design changes are only minor, as some sensors have changed locations. The active noise-canceling microphone has been moved to the top of the stalk and the Nothing Ear (2) branding text is more visible. The audio driver is said to still be 11.6mm, but now supports 6 hours of battery life with a charging frame reaching up to 36 hours.
Nothing's new TWS is claimed to be 0.2 grams lighter. Support for USB-C charging and wireless charging is still retained. Another noticeable change is in the charger frame which no longer has a pattern on non-transparent components.
There are also rumors that the Ear (2) can be connected to two devices simultaneously and may include an active noise cancellation feature that can be adjusted according to the user's taste. Does this small change make you want to change your Ear (1) or Ear (stick) to Ear (2)?
