Twitter CEO Elon Musk is now offering Twitter employees stock grants, which at the same time values the social media company at around $20 billion.
This indirectly shows that the value of Twitter is seen to be reduced by almost half, compared to the value of $44 billion that Elon Musk bought before.
Usually, companies will offer shares to their employees, in order to ensure that employees stay with the company, as well as develop the company together.
Twitter today has around 2300 employees. Under Elon Musk's management, a large number of employees have been laid off earlier, in a move to bring Twitter to a financially generating and profitable company.
