Welcome to Diablo Day with Diablo IV officially launching today to early adopters. For fans of the Diablo series who can't wait to return to Sanctuary, a feeling of dejavu will set in this morning as the game is having trouble launching.
Buyers of Diablo IV Ultimate Edition should be able to start playing today, four days earlier than the regular edition. But when played on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, a notification appears saying the game license is invalid.
Dejavu because 11 years ago on the first day of Diablo III's launch the issue of playing it happened too. Blizzard has released a statement that they are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible as better information becomes available.
This issue has not been reported by PC and Xbox owners so far. For those who took time off just to kill Diablo IV's fiends and demons early on PlayStation, you'll have to be patient until Blizzard fixes the issue.
