HarmonyOS Expected to Come to PC in 2024

Huawei was ready to develop the Harmony OS operating system before, as an alternative to the Android operating system after they were denied access by the United States authorities. During the initial development, Huawei stated that Harmony OS will cover a variety of devices, including automotive.

Now, in addition to the offer on smartphones, it is reported that HarmonyOS will introduce the operating system for computers by 2024.

The background of the introduction has not yet been shared for now. HarmonyOS for computers is expected to be positioned as a competitor to Windows marketed by Microsoft.

Given that Huawei already offers a number of laptops, it's not impossible to see Huawei market a Matebook with HarmonyOS built in – at least in China.
