iPhone 12 Will Be Updated So It Can Be Sold In France

Apple will release a software update for the iPhone 12 in France to meet the requirements of the French National Frequency Agency (ANFR). Previously, ANFR banned the sale of iPhone 12 in France because it allegedly emits electromagnetic radiation that exceeds the permitted limit.

In an official statement released earlier, Apple said the iPhone 12 passed the standards after undergoing tests in their own and third-party laboratories. However, they also agreed to update the iPhone 12 to allow the device to continue to be marketed.

The iPhone 12 was launched in 2020 and is no longer offered by Apple through their online store but it is still sold as a used device. Only France says the device's electromagnetic radiation exceeds safe limits.
