Bytedance Reportedly Wants To Sell Moonton – Game Studio Behind Mobile Legends : Bang Bang

 

Bytedance is now reportedly considering selling Moonton game studio popular with the game Mobile Legends : Bang Bang. It is said that Bytedance has started contacting a number of parties to see the interest of buyers in getting the studio.

Previously, Bytedance, which is popular with the TikTok app, took over Moonton in 2021. It was taken over at a value of $4 billion at the time.

This step was taken by Bytedance in an effort to restructure operations, and focus on their core business. Regardless, talks are said to be still in the early stages, and there's a chance Bytedance won't sell Moonton. Bytedance did not release any comment regarding this new report.
