The new Intel Core-Ultra processor has been officially launched recently for laptop use with a built-in AI core. In parallel, various manufacturers are also seen not to be left behind with new laptops powered by the processor, including MSI.
Through it as many as three models were announced consisting of MSI Prestige 16 AI Studio, MSI Prestige 16 AI Evo and Prestige 13 AI Evo. All three are also equipped with a combination of a compact and versatile body, while at the same time focusing on the use of daily work productivity.
Starting with the MSI Prestige 16 AI Studio and Prestige 16 AI Evo, both have a choice of 16-inch OLED UHD+ (384X2400) and IPS QHD+ (2560 X 1600) displays. In addition it also offers a 16:9 aspect ratio, a DCI-P3 color gamut with 100% SRGB and a peak brightness of 400nits.
CPU is also used up to Intel Core Ultra 9 185H with 32GB LPDDR5 RAM memory and storage based on NVMe M.2 SSD PCIe Gen4 x4. Then it was also combined with select Intel Arc Graphics GPU on MSI Prestige 16 AI Evo. Meanwhile, the Prestige 16 AI Studio is equipped with a GPU up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070.
There are also two built-in speakers, a full HD webcam and a 99.9Whr battery with 140W charging included. Various I/O options are also provided which include Thunderbolt™ 4 / DP/ USB Type-C. 1 x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, 1 x SD card reader, 1 x HDMI and 1 x RJ45.
The MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo uses a 13-inch OLED screen with an aspect ratio of 16:10. This is combined with CPU options up to Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor 155H, 32GB LPDDR5 RAM memory, and NVMe M.2 SSD storage by PCIe Gen4 x4.
The 75Wh battery used can be recharged using 65W charging. Apart from that it also offers a full HD webcam, two built-in speakers and I/O options that include 2 x Thunderbolt 4, 1 x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, 1 x HDMI 2.1, 1 x microSD card reader, 1 x Kensington Lock .
The retail price starts at $1,049 (~RM4,896) for the MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo. Meanwhile, the MSI Prestige 16 AI Evo starts at $1,399 (~RM6,530) and the MSI Prestige 16 AI Studio is available at $1,899 (~RM8,864).
