The Sony A9 III camera can now be pre-ordered in Malaysia with a selling price of RM29,299. Those of you who are interested can do so from today until 7 January 2024 with a gift in the form of a CEA-G80T memory card worth RM989 and a NP-FZ100 battery (worth RM402) given free of charge. The purchase of the SEL300F28GM lens also comes with a CEA-G160T memory (worth RM1,889) for free.
This camera is equipped with a 24.6MP CMOSD sensor with a 5-axis IBIS stabilization system and the latest BIONZ XR image processor chip. Video capabilities are up to 4K 120 FPS without editing, meanwhile 4K60FPS when edited from 6K footage. This includes the option for 10-bit 4:2:16-bit recording, in addition to support for Cinetone modes namely S-Cinetone and S-Log3.
With a built-in global shutter, the camera can record at speeds up to 120fps without any problems. Thus the rolling shutter issue that haunts digital camera sensors is solved. In addition, the camera also offers an ISO range of 250-25600 that can be expanded to ISO 125-51200 and an AI-powered autofocus system.
