Apple Reportedly Halting Production of FineWoven Accessories Due to Quality Issues

Through the iPhone 15 series, Apple released accessories made of the new FineWoven material. FineWoven replaces leather accessories that are seen as unsustainable and therefore not in line with the company's target of reducing the impact on the environment. But now there are reports that Apple has stopped production of FineWoven accessories due to quality issues.

The comment sent by @Kosutami_ito who several times successfully predicted Apple products accurately claimed that Apple's actions were taken because FineWoven was not durable enough. Since the beginning of the accessories being offered, there have been reports of the surface of the frame quickly looking dirty and dull. Several influencers in the tech arena complained that the FineWoven frame broke after a month of use.

FineWoven is produced using materials that are 65% recycled. Accessories produced with this material are iPhone cases, Apple Watch straps, AirTag holders and MagSafe wallets. Apple is reportedly looking for a replacement for FineWoven for their upcoming accessories.
