HP Omen 17 Updated With AMD And NVIDIA CPU And GPU Combination




HP's biggest laptop series, the HP Omen 17 has recently come out with a new update for 2024, using a combination of AMD and NVIDIA CPUs and GPUs.



For this latest model, the HP Omen 17 is shown with a 17.3-inch IPS screen display with a resolution as high as QHD (2560 × 1440 pixels) and a refresh rate of up to 240Hz.



It is powered by a choice of AMD Ryzen 5 8645HS, AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS and AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS CPUs which are matched together with a choice of 32GB DDR5 memory and 512GB PCIe SSD storage as well as 1TB. In terms of graphics card offerings, the HP Omen 17 comes with affordable to premium options, from NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070.



In terms of plug options, the HP Omen 17 features three USB 3.2 Type-A plugs, one USB 3.2 Type-C plug, one HDMI 2.1 plug and one 3.5mm audio plug. For wireless connectivity, this laptop comes with WiFi 6E wireless internet connection support and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.



HP says that the HP Omen 17 gaming laptop will be sold in select markets starting April 24 at a starting price of $1350 (~RM4800).
