The World Record for Fastest Rubik's Cube Solving is Now 0.305 Seconds

The Rubik's Cube has been around for almost 50 years. During the 80's it was the hottest game on the market because it required a busy brain to rearrange the cubes in the correct color. To this day I have not been able to solve this cube because I have no patience.

Today the Guinness Book of Records announced that the world record for solving the Rubik's cube is now held by Mitsubishi Electronics. The Mitsubishi-produced robot solves the cube in just 0.305 seconds. This is faster than the average time of 0.4 seconds for humans to blink.

The world record for solving the cube by a human is held by Max Park from the United States. It took him 3.13 seconds to solve the 3x3x3 cube on June 11, 2023. The Mitsubishi robot can do the same task more than 10 times faster.
