In 2018, Google Tasks launched as a to-do list app. It’s another confusing Google app because the same feature can be done in Keep and Calendar. This has led Google to slowly integrate Tasks directly into Calendar and the latest, full integration will be introduced.
Previously, Tasks integration in Calendar only allowed users to view and create Tasks with a due date. This latest update fully integrates Tasks into Calendar, allowing users to do the same things that are available in the Tasks app itself. It also uses a new interface with a card view and floating action buttons at the bottom.
Surprisingly, Google is still continuing to support the Tasks app and there is no indication that the app will be discontinued. With this new update, will you stick with the Google Tasks app or just stick with what’s already offered in Google Calendar?
