The Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra are three devices that already use One UI 7 based on Android 15. This raises the question of when the devices that Samsung has launched will also receive the update to the latest version of the operating system. According to a report from GSMArena, a total of 61 smartphones will receive One UI 7.
These consist of flagship phones in the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series as well as more affordable Galaxy A models. Samsung previously said that it would try to provide an update to One UI 7 before the end of Q1 2025. There is still no information about Samsung's tablet models that will receive One UI 7 at this time.
As usual, flagship devices will receive it first. Flagship devices such as the S24 and Z Fold6 will receive 7 versions of Android after the devices are launched. The Galaxy A16 5G and Galaxy A16 4G will receive six versions of Android while some models only receive 5, 4 and 3 versions depending on the year they were launched.
