The use of artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots is not limited to adults to perform work tasks but is now also becoming increasingly popular among children. The New York Times reported that Google is now ready to offer Gemini to users under 13 years old with several data safety features.
Parents and guardians who use Family Link to control their children's device use have begun receiving notifications about this new feature. Through Gemini for kids, it can be used to help with homework and even read bedtime stories. Unlike Gemini for adults, Google said that data from users under 13 will not be used to train AI models.
