Lenovo Launches Five Laptops for Education



Lenovo has announced several new laptops for education under its Lenovo Education portfolio. These include the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 2-in-1, Lenovo 13w 2-in-1 Gen 3, Lenovo 500w Gen 5, Lenovo 300w Gen 5 and Lenovo 100w Gen 5. One model runs Windows 11 while the other four run Windows 11.


The Lenovo Chromebook Plus 2-in-1 features a 14″ IPS FHD touch-enabled display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, paired with up to an Intel Core 7th generation processor, up to 16GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to 512GB of storage. The battery life is said to be up to 11 hours. I/O options include 2x USB-C, 2x USB-A and 1x HDMI. The entire device is 17.5mm thick and weighs 1.5 kilograms. With the ChromeOS Operating System, students can access Gemini at any time to help with assignments.


The Lenovo 13w 2-in-1 Gen 3 is equipped with a 13.3″ IPS FHD screen with touch support, stylus and can be rotated 360 degrees. It is matched with up to an Intel Core 5 chip, up to 16GB DDR5 memory, up to 512GB SSD storage and a 54.7 Whr battery. I/O options are 2x USB-C, 2x USB-A and 1x HDMI. The entire device passes the Mil-STD 810H durability standard. It also has several components such as RAM, SSD, battery and fan that can be replaced by the owner.


Then the Lenovo 500w Gen 5 is equipped with a 12.2″ IPS FHD screen with touch support and stylus. It is matched with up to an Intel Processor Core 3 N350 chip, up to 8GB LPDDR5 memory, up to 256GB SSD storage and a 47 Whr battery. I/O options are 1x USB-C 10Gbps, 1x USB-C 5Gbps, 1x USB-A 3.2 5Gbps, 1x HDMI 1.4, 1x audio jack and 1x Kensington lock. The webcam supports 1080P and the rear camera is 5MP.


Next, the Lenovo 300w Gen 5 is equipped with an 11.6″ IPS FHD screen with touch and stylus support. It is paired with a chip up to Intel Processor Core 3 N250, up to 8GB LPDDR5 memory, up to 256GB SSD storage and a 47 Whr battery. I/O options are 1x USB-C 10Gbps, 1x USB-C 5Gbps, 1x USB-A 3.2 5Gbps, 1x HDMI 1.4, 1x audio jack and 1x Kensington lock. The webcam supports 720P and the rear camera is 5MP.


Finally, the Lenovo 100w Gen 5 is equipped with an 11.6″ IPS FHD screen, paired with an Intel Processor Core 3 N150 chip, up to 8GB LPDDR5 memory, up to 256GB SSD storage and a 47 Whr battery. I/O options are 1x USB-C 10Gbps, 1x USB-C 5Gbps, 1x USB-A 3.2 5Gbps, 1x HDMI 1.4, 1x audio jack and 1x Kensington lock. The camera is just a webcam supporting 720P.


Although all the laptops have been launched, the selling price has not yet been announced at this time.
