Nothing Phone (3a) Now Supports 4K30FPS Video Recording With Telephoto Camera

Nothing has announced a new software update for users of the Phone (3a) series. It brings some interesting improvements to the user interface, and overall better performance.

Among the interesting ones is the addition of 4K recording support at 30FPS for the telephoto lens, which allows users to take high-quality photos even when zoomed in. This means that the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro devices now support 4K30FPS recording even when using the telephoto lens at 2x zoom for the Phone (3a) and 3x zoom for the Phone (3a) Pro.

In addition, this update also offers improvements to the camera capabilities including clearer selfies with skin details and more natural color balance. In addition, night photos are also clearer especially under streetlights. There is also filter support for 50MP photos that allow for more creative image editing. At the same time, telephoto photos in low light are also said to be brighter even in dark environments.

In addition to the camera improvements, Nothing X 3.0 also introduces some minor changes to the user interface, as well as support for the new Buds 2 series earphones. New features in the update include easier access to Privacy Space, which allows users to store personal information more securely.

Separate passwords for App Locker and Privacy Space offer more control over app security. There is also a Hotspot Manager that allows users to better manage connected devices. Overall system improvements are also given attention for a more responsive user experience.

To get the update, users can check the settings > system > system update section on their respective phones. Nothing states that the update is being distributed in stages, so it may not be received by all users at the same time.
