Google today shared a number of developments involving its artificial intelligence offering, Gemini, and the integration of artificial intelligence across its products. One of the highlights is the integration of artificial intelligence-powered search results displays, called AI Overviews.
This integration is now being implemented by Google on search results pages, where summaries are displayed at the top powered by artificial intelligence, in addition to the usual list of search results below.
Google says that over 1.5 billion users now access AI Overviews through their search results pages, positioning Google as a leader in the artificial intelligence-powered search arena.
In parallel, Google also announced the introduction of a new AI-powered search support on Google's search engine, called AI Mode.
