Samsung Electronics has acquired audio brands Bowers & Wilkins, Denon, Polk and Marantz through its subsidiary Harman International. The value paid to Masimo is $350 million in cash. This comes after Harman acquired all of Masimo's audio businesses, which previously owned the four leading audio brands.
Harman also owns the audio brands JBL, Harman Kardon, AKG, Mark Levinson, Arcam, and Revel. Masimo is selling its audio business to focus solely on its professional healthcare business. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2025 and is subject to regulatory approvals.
