Garmin has officially launched their latest smartwatch, the Venu X1, for the Malaysian market. Interestingly, the Venu X1 comes with the largest display in the Venu series while still maintaining a slim design.
The Venu X1 comes with a 2-inch AMOLED display with scratch-resistant sapphire glass. Despite having a large screen, the watch is only 8mm thick and comes with a lightweight titanium frame. It is also equipped with a 24mm nylon strap with a choice of colors including black.
The Venu X1 supports calls and voice commands when connected to a smartphone supported by a built-in microphone and speaker. It also provides a built-in LED flashlight with four adjustable brightness levels.
Health features include heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen, altitude readings and training readiness guidance. The Venu X1 also supports over 100 built-in sports activities as well as color maps for easy navigation during exercise.
In terms of battery, it can last up to eight days in smartwatch mode while always-on display (AOD) mode will reduce battery life by around two days. The official price of the Venu X1 in Malaysia is RM3,479 and will go on sale in mid-July 2025.
