As we reported today, the first death due to Covid-19 since May 2024 was recorded last week. The individual died due to a comorbidity of diabetes. Although the pandemic has changed its status to endemic in Malaysia, for those with comorbidities, getting a booster vaccine injection is highly recommended by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM) now due to the increase in cases.
So how do you get a booster vaccine injection in Malaysia today? The answer is simple, through the MySejahtera application, just like getting the original vaccine a few years ago. Download the application and log in using the account you registered previously. If you forget, there is a password reset feature.
1. Go to the main page of the application.
2. Go to the Appointments icon.
3. Select the name of the individual who wants to receive the vaccine. For parents or guardians, the child's name will be visible on this screen.
4. Select COVID-19 Vaccination Services for the Public.
5. Search for nearby Health Clinic facilities in the search box.
6. Select your preferred location.
7. Select a date and time slot.
8. Confirm the date and time.
9. A confirmation screen will be displayed.
10. Don't forget to bring your MyKad/MyKid and MySejahtera appointment card.
11. You can change the date or cancel the appointment from the Appointment screen
