Nothing Phone (3) Will Use Glyph Matrix Lighting System

Welcome to the new Glyph Matrix feature! The question is now answered when Nothing shares the latest update that confirms that Glyph Maxtrix will replace the previously used Glyph lighting system.

This feature will be introduced on the upcoming Nothing Phone (3) device. This confirms many assumptions that Nothing will use a matrix system. However, this concept is not new in the industry since ASUS has also used a similar approach on several of their gaming devices.

Interestingly, the Glyph Matrix is placed on the right side of the device and not in the middle as previously rumored. At the moment, it is still not certain how the Glyph Matrix will work but it is expected to be able to display interesting information including notifications as ASUS does.

Nothing also confirmed some of the main specifications of this device. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip and the company promises software update support for at least seven years. For more information, stay tuned for the official launch on July 1, 2025.
