HP Dimension is the first teleconferencing device to be marketed with Google Beam technology. Through Dimension, video calls and teleconferencing sessions can be done in spatial 3D with the individuals being contacted appearing as if they were actually in front of the Dimension user's eyes.
Based on the shared image, a Dimension set comes in the form of a 65″ TV with its own base, a curved table, a small screen for control and two microphones placed on the table. In total, Dimension is equipped with 7 high-definition cameras, 12 microphones and four speakers that offer spatial audio.
According to HP, Beam will increase user participation in discussions by up to 37% and the ability to remember what was discussed increases by 28%. HP Dimension with Google Beam will be available to customers in late 2025 at a price of $24,999 (~RM 106,000) each.
