Microsoft seems to be focusing on the future development of their Xbox video game console brand with the announcement of a number of collaborations with other companies, such as ASUS, where they will introduce the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally portable console which is based on the previously launched ROG Ally X console.
Recently, Microsoft also seems to be working with Meta to develop their own virtual reality set. Collaboration between these two companies is not new, when Meta announced that they were working with Microsoft to develop this product two years ago.
This matter did not get much attention until now, when the accessory bundle was leaked to the web arena via a tweet by Zuby__Tech on the X social media platform. From the design of the virtual reality set, it can be seen that it is a rebranding of the Meta Quest 3S virtual reality set called the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition.
The specifications of this virtual reality set are the same as the regular Meta Quest 3S, only it comes with a black design and the Xbox logo but not many other details are known about it. Another leak about this virtual reality set is that Microsoft and Meta are expected to start selling it at the end of June (June 24, 2025), and it will be sold in select markets for $399.
