Comet Web Browser Now Begins Closed Beta Testing for Windows Users

Earlier this year, AI technology developer Perplexity announced that they would be introducing their own web browser software called Comet which will come with a number of artificial intelligence technologies that will make users' internet searches easier, and customize them according to their own needs.

Earlier last month, they began testing the web browser on the MacOS platform, and now, Perplexity CEO Aravind Srinivas has confirmed that the Windows version has also begun closed testing with a select number of users.

The advantages of the Comet web browser can be seen through the integration of artificial intelligence, where users can ask questions through the search bar, find discount codes for online purchases and easily search for specific emails.

In fact, Comet is also seen testing the integration of the Try On feature, where users can use GenAI to see themselves wearing the clothes they want to buy, in a way allowing them to try on the clothes and see if they fit before buying them.

For now, he also confirmed that Android and iOS versions of the web browser are in development, and further details about these versions will be announced in the future. The official launch of the Comet web browser is not yet known, but our expectation is that it will officially arrive soon.
