Meta is ready to invest heavily in the development of its own artificial intelligence offering, Meta AI. In addition, Meta also offers its open source model, Llama – allowing various companies to develop their own offerings using it.
Not only that, it is now reported that Meta is in talks to invest in one of the artificial intelligence firms, Scale AI. Previously, Scale AI was ready to receive investments from NVIDIA and Amazon, in addition to Meta itself. It focuses on data labeling, while providing a platform for various researchers, especially in the field of artificial intelligence.
For now, both parties have not issued any official comments regarding this new report. It is said that Meta may invest up to $10 billion in this firm, making it one of the highest-profile investments by Meta, and may gain a high stake in Scale AI.
