Nothing has now shared a recent update that hints that the Glyph Interface may no longer be included in their new phone.
In an official tweet on X, Nothing wrote, “We killed the Glyph Interface”, along with a short clip showing the lights in the top two corners and the bottom flashing before turning off completely.
However, the circular light in the middle is not shown directly. In fact, the empty space between the three lights shown seems to indicate that it may not be included in their new device either.
The Glyph Interface has been a key feature since the Nothing Phone (1) was introduced in 2022. Therefore, the loss of this feature in the latest model may affect the identity of the phone that has been known for its unique design.
However, this change has the potential to benefit users who prefer simple and minimalist designs.
