The era of larger batteries in devices that still remain the same size has begun this year. Earlier this week, for example, the Realme GT7 was announced with a 7000 mAh battery. Today, it's the turn of the Vivo S30 and S30 Pro Mini to be launched in China with a 6500 mAh battery that is no less impressive.
The Vivo S30 comes with a 6.67″ AMOLED 120Hz screen, powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The 6500 mAh battery used supports 90W fast charging. The main camera consists of a 50MP wide-angle lens, 8MP ultra-wide and 3x 50MP telephoto. On the front, a 50MO sensor is once again used for the selfie camera.
Vivo S30 Pro Mini comes with a 6.31″ AMOLED LTPO 120Hz screen, powered by the Dimensity 9300+ chip, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The 6500 mAh battery used supports 90W fast charging. The main camera consists of a 50MP wide-angle lens, an 8MP ultra-wide and a 3x 50MP telephoto. On the front, a 50MO sensor is used for the selfie camera.
The S30 passes the IP64 standard while the S30 Pro Mini passes the IP69 standard. Both are also equipped with a round light on the back and use the OriginOS 5 operating system based on Android 15. What is amazing here is that the S30 Pro Mini is equipped with a fairly large battery despite only being equipped with a 6.3″ screen.
