Nothing has shared more details about its upcoming device, the Nothing Phone (3). According to the company’s co-founder, Akis Evangelidis, the device will be supported with software updates for 5 + 7 years. While the exact breakdown was not announced, it is likely to refer to 5 years of Android version updates and 7 years of security, which is a significant jump compared to previous offerings.
The Nothing Phone (3) will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, which is a high-performance processor also used in the iQOO Neo10. This makes it Nothing’s most premium device to date. Interestingly, the design will also be given a new lease of life without the use of the Glyph lighting system like previous models to make it more modern and different.
