Updated: As of 11:20 pm, Maybank, through its latest statement on X, announced that the MAE application is now accessible again. Our review also found that the application is currently functioning as usual.
Maybank announced that the MAE application is experiencing a temporary disruption that is also affecting several selected services. Although informed that the main functions are still usable, the current review found that the application cannot be fully accessed with the “Be Right Back” display appearing when we tried to open it as of this writing.
As an alternative measure, customers are advised to carry out transactions via the official Maybank2U website which is operating as usual without any disruption. Maybank apologizes for the inconvenience caused and informs that efforts are being made to restore the affected services in the near future.
