The Redmi Pad 2 has been officially launched in the Philippines today. This Android tablet is equipped with an 11″ IPS LCD 90Hz screen with 2.5K resolution paired with the Helio G100 chip, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage and a 9000 mAh battery that supports 18W charging.
The camera consists of an 8MP wide-angle lens on the rear and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. The device is equipped with a Dolby Atmos audio system with four speakers, an audio jack and uses the HyperOS 2.0 operating system. Also included is the Redmi Smart Pen stylus for sketching directly on the screen. Clearly, this is an affordable tablet for those who do not want to spend more.
In the Philippines, it will be priced at Php 11,999 (~RM 916) for the 6/128GB model and Php 13,999 (~RM 1068) for the 8/256GB model in black and blue color options. Redmi Malaysia has already confirmed that the tablet will be coming to the local market, but the date has not been announced.
