While at university, the easiest way to tell which students are rich is by looking at their equipment. Those who use Wacom tablets are the commoners, but those who own a Wacom Cintiq are considered royalty. Today, three new Wacom Cintiq models have been launched with thinner designs.
The three models launched are the Cintiq 16, Cintiq 24 and Cintiq 24 Touch. All three have thinner bezels, and lighter bodies. All models also support the new Pro Pen 3 stylus with 8192 levels of pressure, detects tilt angles up to 60 degrees, comes with three buttons and a latency time of 12ms. Like all Wacom styluses, the Pro Pen 3 does not require a battery to function.
All three also support 2.5K resolution with a 60Hz refresh rate. The anti-glare surface used also provides a paper-like texture when used with the Pro Pen 3. Connection to a computer can be done using USB-C, HDMI and USB-A.
The selling prices of all three Wacom Cintiq models are as follows.
Wacom Cintiq 16 – $699.95 (~RM 2970)
Wacom Cintiq 24 – $1299.95 (~RM 5515)
Wacom Cintiq 24 Touch – $1499.95 (~RM 6364)
