Today the White House confirmed that President Trump will once again extend this period for another 90 days. The extension issued by Trump three months ago will end on June 19. The sale of TikTok has been used as a pawn in trade talks between the United States and China. A few months ago, the two countries agreed to reduce bilateral import tariffs by 115%. However, this agreement is also only for 90 days with Trump wanting to meet with President Xi for a long-term trade agreement.
