The Vivo X Fold5 will be officially launched on June 25, 2025 with some exciting upgrades. The foldable phone offers extreme temperature resistance down to -20°C and an IPX9+ rating for water protection and IP5X for dust protection.
The device will come with three rear cameras using ZEISS technology including a periscope telephoto camera for sharper images. The main sensor used is likely to be a 50MP Sony IMX921 accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide sensor and a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto.
The X Fold5 display will use an LTPO 8T AMOLED panel that offers high resolution and peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits. The screen also comes with TÃœV Rheinland 3.0 eye protection certification for long-term use. In addition, ZEISS Master Color technology ensures accurate colors and provides a more stunning visual effect.
One interesting feature is the full support for Apple Watch, making it the first Android phone to integrate with the Apple ecosystem.
