xAI, Elon Musk's artificial intelligence-focused company, has now announced a collaboration with Telegram, in integrating Grok support directly into the messaging application. For this purpose, xAI will pay Telegram $300 million in cash and equity, in addition to sharing xAI subscription revenue sold through Telegram.
This collaboration is for a period of one year. With this step, Telegram will fully integrate Grok into the messaging service, allowing users to do various interesting things through it.
This includes searching and asking Grok directly, generating AI-powered stickers, requesting to summarize group conversations, summarizing shared documents, monitoring group conversations, and so on. This integration will be introduced in the near future.
It is not known whether this collaboration also involves data sharing or otherwise.
Previously, xAI has taken over the X social service, which is owned by Elon Musk, in an effort to better manage the company, in addition to accelerating the development of artificial intelligence models.
