Chrome Now Displays Reviews of Online Stores Directly on Official Websites

Online shopping has become a daily routine, causing more and more physical stores and shopping malls to close. Cheaper prices, faster delivery and lack of time to go to the store in person are the catalysts for online shopping. But anyone can open a store and as a result, fraud cases are also on the rise.

Google today announced a new feature in Chrome that allows reviews of online stores to be read directly from the official website. In the URL box there is a button that allows reviews to be displayed. A short summary of the online store is also displayed at once, thus avoiding being fooled by stores with a bad reputation.

It is generated by AI with information collected from various sources. You no longer need to open a new window in the web browser just to see the reputation and stars received by each store. This AI-generated review feature is first given to users in the United States.

Although this feature is interesting, Google needs to solve a major problem with their review system. Based on experience, there is an issue of fake reviews being done to deceive users. I've been to restaurants several times that have received 4-5 star ratings, but the reality is that the reviews are better than the looks.
