Gmail Now Has a Special Tab to Make Unsubscribing from Emails Easier

As a journalist, I subscribe to several breaking news services to my personal email. As a result, hundreds of messages flood my inbox every day and it takes me an hour to delete them. The process of unsubscribing is often very annoying. Gmail has been updated today with a special tab to make the process easier.

The “Manage Subscription” tab can now be accessed through the Gmail side menu. When pressed, all messages received through the email subscription service will be displayed locally. If you feel that you no longer need it, just press the email icon that appears and the subscription will be automatically canceled without having to go through several steps.

This email unsubscribe feature is now accessible through the web version of Gmail starting today. It will arrive on Android on July 14 and on iOS on July 21.
